After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Per Stenqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supreme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Stenqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Kullgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Berggren spun around in front of the goal 17 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Supreme FC's goal. After 18 played minutes Supreme FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Eliasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Gustafsson in the 19th minute of play forced Supreme FC's goalkeeper Lambis Kastanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Supreme FC's Lambis Kastanas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Wennersten in the 22nd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per Kullgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Berggren was the one to do the kick off. Per Kullgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stenqvist in the 51st minute of play. Lambis Kastanas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Kullgren made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Einar Ålberg sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Supreme FC defense, Algot Brask kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lambis Kastanas. The Supreme FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lambis Kastanas should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Algot Brask had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lambis Kastanas. Supreme FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Algot Brask was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Supreme FC made a substitution. Niclas Stabbe replaced Jan Hedlund. The Småland Utd fans cheered their team off the field, for while Supreme FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
